I had fried plantains at a Cuban restaurant and loved them. So this is my version with an Indian spice flavor.
Ingredient
1 plantain
2 Tbsp Ghee
2 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Dessert Spice ( See below)
Directions:
Slice and peel plantain lengthwise. Cut into cubes.
Place 2 Tbsp Ghee in medium hot skillet allow to melt
Place plantain cubes in skillet and brown all sides
While plantains are still in skillet, add honey and dessert spice. Coat plantains evenly remove from heat and serve hot.
Serve with: whipped cream cheese
or Yogurt or your favorite ice cream
Dessert Spice
Ingredient:
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Cardamon
1 tsp Cloves
